Royal Enfield Further Expands the Mid-Size Motorcycle Segment in Thailand

Royal Enfield, the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production and the global leader in mid-size motorcycles has emerged as one of the leading mid-size motorcycle brands in Thailand with over 7% market share. Royal Enfield has created a niche for itself, defining the mid-size (250-750 cc) motorcycle segment in India first and now, globally.


Commenting on the International business Growth at Royal Enfield,

Over the last few years, we have witnessed a strong growth momentum in markets outside India as our international volumes almost doubled as compared to FY 2020-21. We have recorded between 80% -100% growth year on year over the past few quarters, and more than 40% increase in volumes as compared to 2019-20. Our share of revenue from international markets has grown three times over the last 5 years. This has been a result of our long-term strategy on growing and leading the middleweight segment globally. We continue to offer motorcycles that are not extreme and can be used for leisure and daily riding, poised to become the first premium global consumer brand from India. With a strong motorcycle line-up, robust network expansion plans and unique rider focused initiatives, we are well on our way for the next phase of growth.


In Thailand, a huge new audience of commuters is upgrading to Royal Enfield’s robust long-distance “leisure riding” experience. As a leisure motorcycling brand, we are not only growing our market share but also mindshare among the motorcycling enthusiasts.”
